He was certainly a good friend of the Passaic River Boat Club. The club has been working to bring about the return of recreational boating to this historical waterway. Without the river cleanup efforts of Bob and his PVSC team that dream might never come true. We interfaced with Bob on many occasions and his enthusiasm for cleaning up the river was truly inspirational. To the rest of us it seemed like a daunting task with no end in sight. A million "Thank You's" to Bob will never adequately repay him and his team for all the favors they've done for us. Tom Pietrykoski has stated it quite correctly, “It is now up to us to carry on his legacy.” Rest in peace good friend. We'll miss you.
